Qualicum Beach is ideally suited for travel by bicycle. Most destinations in Town can be reached via quiet backroads or dedicated multi-use pathways. Some difficult sections of roadway or trail still exist, and we will be working to improve them as soon as time and financial resources permit.

The 2009 Qualicum Beach Cycling Plan was completed in 2009 identified roads and corridors that need improvement for cycling. Town staff and Council are now working to make this plan a reality. A comprehensive trail map, including cycling routes, is being developed.
