Making Culture Count: Get on the Map!

The first step in the development of a Cultural Plan for Qualicum Beach is completing the process of cultural mapping (definitions and resources). To date the mapping process has involved consolidating information from a range of existing sources including Statistics Canada, local Yellow Pages, and a series of local databases.

We have only just begun and now we need your help in adding to this initial information. In particular, we know that there are many individual artists and other cultural workers that live in the area but are not yet part of the database. The area boundaries defined for the map are Parksville to Bowser.
