Invasive Knotweeds

Knotweed is an invasive alien species originally from Asia. It grows vigorously, impacting native ecosystems, and it can cause serious damage to foundations, driveways and septic systems. Cutting, mowing or digging up knotweed doesn't work because it spreads by roots and one small fragment can lead to more plants.
