Public Hearing Process

Everyone who considers their interests to be affected by the proposed application shall have the opportunity to be heard at a Public Hearing.

Attend the Public Hearing in person

Attend the Public Hearing in person at Town Hall, 660 Primrose Street, and speak to the proposed bylaw amendments.

All in-person comments are included in the minutes of the meeting.

  • Mail to #201 - 660 Primrose Street, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1S7, Attention: Planning
  • In person at #201 - 660 Primrose Street between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Written submissions will be considered from the time the application is introduced at a Council meeting, until the close of the Public Hearing. It is recommended that correspondence be received before 4pm the day prior to the Public Hearing to allow Council the opportunity to review all submissions.

  • Online - available at Public Hearing webpage. (These comments are redacted so that just the street name shows.)

Who can participate in a Public Hearing?

Input for Public Hearings are open to all members of the public, regardless of whether they are directly impacted or not. It is important that all community members are able to provide input as they may have expertise or perspectives that can contribute to a better outcome for the entire community.
