Qualicum Beach Family Day Indemnity Agreement
As a participant in the Qualicum Beach Family Day & Parade I indemnify, hold and save harmless the Town of Qualicum Beach, except for the negligence of the Town of Qualicum Beach, from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs actions and other proceedings; including but not limited to Workers Compensation Legislation, made, sustained, brought or prosecuted in any manner, based upon, occasioned by or attributable to any injury, including death, property damage, infringement or damage arising from any act of occasion of this Town of Qualicum Beach, their employees, officers, volunteers, servants or agents or persons from whom the Participant has assumed responsibility in the performance of purported performance of this agreement.
It shall be the responsibility of the Participant to determine their own additional insurance coverages, if any, including Workers Compensation, that are necessary and advisable for its own protection and/or to fulfill its obligations under this contract.
