The Town has a wide diversity of parks that include sandy beaches, ancient forests, pristine watersheds, with meandering trails and pathways for people of all ages and abilities. Parks and Trails throughout the Town are maintained by the Qualicum Beach Parks Department.
Residents and visitors to Qualicum Beach should be able walk or ride throughout the Town without using busy roads or dangerous trail routes. Our trail system connects neighbourhoods with community amenities, linking people with their friends, convenient shopping, and recreational opportunities. Improvements to the trail system are always underway, but we are proud to have the excellent trail system that we do today.
