On behalf of the Council of the Town of Qualicum Beach, I would like to extend our warmest welcome.
The Town of Qualicum Beach is a unique place to live, rich with caring and dedicated people. We pride ourselves on a sense of community which is expressed most clearly by the number of volunteers who work hard to maintain a high quality of life. I hope that you would share your ideas, skills and passions through one of the many community organizations.
We are privileged to live in an area of unsurpassed beauty and I encourage you to explore our trails, shores and parks and to work with us in protecting our natural environment.
Regular Council meetings are held each month, 10 am at Town Hall, 660 Primrose Street. Dates are available to view on our website, as are live-streamed videos. These meetings are open to the public and take place at Town Hall.
In addition to our regular meetings, the Council also hosts a “Town Hall” style Committee of the Whole meeting quarterly to give the public an opportunity to talk directly with Council and staff on Town matters of concern.
Your Members of Council are Scott Harrison, Anne Skipsey, Petronella Vander Valk, Jean Young, and myself Teunis Westbroek as Mayor. We welcome your participation and encourage your comments and suggestions.
