Join a Committee, Board or Commission
Committee members are appointed by Council and serve a fixed term. On some committees there is a limit to the number of terms that a member may serve.

| Environment & Sustainability (Youth Member) | Two-year term | Applications are invited from individuals between the ages of 15 and 29. Held on the first Friday of January, May and September (as required) commencing at 3 pm, with additional meetings possibly scheduled to address larger projects or urgent items, with no more than one meeting per month. |
| Parks & Recreation (Member at Large) | Two-year term | Held on the third Wednesday of February, May, September and November commencing at 2 pm. |
| Parks & Recreation (Youth Member) | Two-year term | Applications are invited from students at Kwalikum Secondary School, Ballenas Secondary School, and Vancouver Island University. Held on the third Wednesday of February, May, September and November commencing at 2 pm |
