The Town of Qualicum Beach operates the cemetery at 867 Jones Street. The cemetery celebrates all cultures, religions and traditions as we embrace the diversity of our population. Whether you are planning ahead or have recently experienced the loss of a loved one, Town of Qualicum Beach staff can assist in making choices that will meet your needs.
The cemetery is reserved for Qualicum Beach (QB) residents and District 69 (D69) residents only.
Each full burial plot can accommodate either one full burial with four cremated remains, or six cremated remains.
Open/Close (full burial): $1,415 + GST (includes Open/Close $1000 and concrete grave liner $415)
Open/Close (cremation): $400 + GST
Please note: if the plot is used for a casket burial in the future, cremation liners will be applied for each cremated remains that precede the casket. The cost of cremation liners is $120 each.
Marker installation: $219 + GST
The marker must be purchased from a professional memorial company and cannot exceed a size of 12” x 20”. Each metal memorial tablet must be attached to a concrete/stone base no less than 3” thick. Two names may be applied on one marker and placed centrally between two plots.
Burials after hours:
Each cremation plot can accommodate one cremated remains.
Open/close: $400 + GST for each plot

Vase: $75 + GST (purchase and installation)
Columbarium is located near the Cemetery entrance on the north side. A Columbarium Niche can accommodate up to two cremated remains in each niche. The space inside each niche is 11.75” x 11.75” x 13” deep.
The Scattering Garden is located in a peaceful forested area of the cemetery. The location hosts a granite memorial pedestal book where memorial plaques can be installed. Fees include the memorial marker and installation. Use of the Scattering Garden is optional.
A non-refundable Care Fund contribution is included in the cost of a burial plot, cremation, niche, scattering board and marker installation. The Town of Qualicum Beach uses the nonrefundable Care Fund contribution for the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.
The cemetery gates are open to visitors seven days a week from 7 am to 3:30 pm (closed on all Statutory Holidays, with the exception of Remembrance Day).
