For over 60 years, the Town of Qualicum Beach has brought you the Ocean Mile Swim – in partnership with the Regional District of Nanaimo. The swim tests your skills in friendly competition, swimming just over “one” mile at the Qualicum Beach waterfront and offers the chance to win a coveted trophy across 15 award categories.

2024 Results
The 2024 event drew a total of 82 registrants of all ages and levels competing for 15 awards. A huge thank you to all the volunteers and organizations that helped with the event including RDN Volunteers and their Leaders in Training, Emcee Matt Breedlove, RCMP, Coast Guard, Qualicum Beach Streamkeepers, community volunteers, and the Shore Restaurant.
