 To celebrate Ocean Week Canada, join us for a hands-on Marine Debris Survey at the Qualicum Beach waterfront. This is a great opportunity to protect our shoreline, learn about marine pollution, and be part of a global solution!

Held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8), Ocean Week Canada is a national celebration of ocean knowledge, stewardship, and engagement. This local event invites residents and community members to participate in monitoring and removing marine debris while building a deeper connection to our shoreline and ocean environment.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region Research Institute (MABRRI).
