The Town’s Financial Plan is guided by the Council Strategic Plan, which outlines priorities and direction for Qualicum Beach. It serves as a road map to meet the community’s growing needs over a five year period. Distinguished Budget Presentation Award
The Government Finance Officers Association (GOFA) awards local governments that prepare budget documents of the highest quality which reflect the guidelines established by the National Advisory Council on the State and Local Budgeting, and the GFOA’s best practices. The Town of Qualicum Beach’s 2024-2028 budget document was recognized with this award for excelling in the preparation of its financial plan and its transparency in budgeting.
