The Town was awarded almost $2.5 million in provincial funding to construct the Into the Woods Early Learning Studio, providing 37 new affordable spaces for children aged three years to kindergarten with extended hours of operation.

The studio is situated in the Town-owned community park at 330 Dorset Rd, nestled within a mature stand of native forest. The 3,269 square foot studio provides opportunities for children and operators to engage with nature, both indoors and outdoors.

The facility is operated by the non-profit Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Society and is a key step in addressing a critical need within our community, especially for underserved populations.

Families interested in applying for a space in the Into the Woods Early Learning Studio can register at intothewoodsqualicum.ca
