Rodway Trail is a popular trail with a steep embankment that runs from Arbutus Street to Highway 19A, connecting residents in west Qualicum Beach to the waterfront.

The trail was completely restored with a new graded access point and engineered stairs that create a continuous trail from the upper plateau on Arbutus Street to the waterfront.

Rodway Trail not only opens up commuter connections for residents but also allows tourists access to walking loops that lead to various attractions and businesses around the Town. Trail linkages between the uptown commercial core and the waterfront create recreational tourism opportunities that generate an economic flow to the community.
