Dogs are NOT permitted in the following areas:
- Within the fenced area of the Qualicum Beach Airport
- On the Community Park playing fields
- On the Public Beach between March 1 and April 30 (to protect geese during migration season)
Areas Where Dogs Can Be Off Leash
There are certain public areas in Qualicum Beach where dogs can be taken off leash.
Qualicum Beach Community Park
The Community Park near the Civic Centre offers extensive off-leash trails for dogs to explore. There is also a designated fenced off-leash dog park indicated below by the red square within the fenced area off the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre Parking lot.
Off Leash Dog Park
A designated off leash dog park is located off Garden Road East, near the Qualicum Beach Airport.
