Special Events in Qualicum Beach

Qualicum Beach is host to a number of special events each year for residents and visitors to enjoy. Come for the event and stay for the beach, the food, and the parks and trails around Town.

Beach Day

Each July, we celebrate Beach Day, a day with an environmental focus that celebrates our beautiful beach. Enjoy activities, exhibitions, live music, games, food, and entertainment on the waterfront promenade.

Family Day

On the last Sunday of May, enjoy a pancake breakfast, a vibrant street parade, and an afternoon of activities and food at the Community Playing Field, all ending with a free swim at the Ravensong Aquatic Centre.

Ocean Mile Swim

The Ocean Mile Swim tests your skills in a friendly competition over just “one” mile at the Qualicum Beach waterfront and offers the chance to win a coveted trophy across 15 award categories.

Above & Beyond Award

Every year, the Town honours its volunteers by inviting the community to nominate a noteworthy volunteer for the Above & Beyond Award. The award is presented at the Town’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Reception.
