Property Taxes Are Due July 2, 2025

Pay Your Property Tax

Property tax bills are sent to property owners in late May, with taxes due in early July.

Property tax can be paid any of the following ways:

Visit the Town of Qualicum Beach, #201-660 Primrose Street, Qualicum Beach, BC.

Debit, cash, or cheque only. Credit Cards are NOT accepted.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (excluding Statutory Holidays).

In-person, online, or telephone banking (e-transfers NOT accepted).

For online payments, select “Qualicum Beach, Town of – Taxes” (or similar) as the payee. Use the Roll No. as the account number. Please contact your bank directly for assistance setting up a payee.

Payable to “Town of Qualicum Beach”.

Can be dropped-off by mail slot located at the entrance of Town Hall nearest to the fountain (at 660 Primrose St).

Or Mailed to PO Box 130, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1S7.

Date of post-mark is NOT accepted as the payment date. Post-dated cheques are encouraged. A receipt will only be issued if requested in writing.

Home Owner Grant

Applications for Home Owner Grants are considered partial payment of your property tax. Home Owner Grant applications are administered by the provincial government. To avoid penalties and interest, applications must be received by the Province on or before the property tax due date of July 2, 2025.

Deferment of Property Tax

Property Tax Deferment program is a low-interest loan program provided by the provincial government. It allows a qualifying home owner to defer their current year property tax.

To apply, visit the Province of BC Property Tax Deferment Program.
