Your utility bill is due July 2, 2025

Utility Billing

Utility bills incorporate charges for water, sewer and garbage collection. Billings are sent out twice per year:

  • Winter Billing period – Oct 1 to April 30
  • Summer Billing Period – May 1 to Sept 30

If your bill is paid before the due date a discount is applied.

Paying Your Utility Bill

Utility bills can be paid any of the following ways:

Visit the Town of Qualicum Beach, #201-660 Primrose Street, Qualicum Beach, BC.

Debit, cash, or cheque only. Credit Cards are NOT accepted.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (excluding Statutory Holidays).

In-person, online, or telephone banking (e-transfers NOT accepted).

For online payments, select “Qualicum Beach, Town of – Utilities” (or similar) as the payee. Use the Utility Account No. as the account reference. Please contact your bank directly for assistance setting up a payee.

Payable to “Town of Qualicum Beach”.

Can be dropped-off by mail slot located at the entrance of Town Hall nearest to the fountain (at 660 Primrose St).

Or Mailed to PO Box 130, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1S7.

Date of post-mark is NOT accepted as the payment date. Post-dated cheques are encouraged. A receipt will only be issued if requested in writing.

Water and Sewer Rates

The Town of Qualicum Beach provides water and sanitary sewer services on a consumption-based billing system. The council has adopted the following rates for water and sanitary sewer:

Garbage, Recycling & Food Waste Rates

Solid waste, recycling and food waste services for most residential properties are collected by an independent contractor through the Regional District of Nanaimo.
