The development of a Preliminary Neighbourhood Plan will help guide how the Eaglecrest neighbourhood may evolve following the Town’s purchase of the Eaglecrest Golf Course lands in late 2025. The project will focus on neighbourhood-scale planning, including how people move through the area, how parks and green spaces connect, and how future development can integrate with the existing community.

The Town will be engaging the community on:

  • Neighbourhood Scale Planning – to provide context for the overall neighbourhood elements such as form and character, traffic and circulation patterns, parks, and outdoor recreation
  • Parcel-Specific Planning – to provide input on the closed portion of the golf course to the the west of Country Club Drive to help inform development conditions around the disposal of the land, intended for sale in 2026.

Engagement will seek feedback from two unique groups – Eaglecrest residents, and the general public. See Public Engagement below.
